| Here are pictures of our new kitchen. The old one did not have a good
silverware drawer, so we had to renovate. We knocked the old porch off
the house and expanded the kitchen out. We set up a temporary kitchen and
laundry in the basement for 4 months while work was going on. We also had
the family room painted. The old wide-plank pine looked nice but was very
dark. The new cream with white trim makes the room look twice as big.
The builder was Robert Kramer. He is a bit high priced, but he delivered on everything he promised in the given time. That seems to be more than many contractors can do these days. Click on the thumbnails to see a large image. They are arranged in roughly the spot I was in when I took the photo. |
